For those of us who love to quilt, every quilt we make for family and friends is an act of love. With every stitch, we are thinking about the person who will receive the quilt.

There are times when a special quilt is required to fill a need, provide comfort or give someone a blessing. On such occasions, we need to let those friends, or even strangers, know that we have been praying for them.

Prayer shawls originally were shawls that were knitted or crocheted, but quilters want to share their talent with those in need, too. It is for that reason that we present this collection of throws and lap quilts from designers who have a variety of faith backgrounds. 51 pages, including covers.
