This is a very cute hat pattern for a baby. You can knit it in one evening! There are two sizes given in the instructions. With one skein of yarn you can probably knit two newborn hats. The pattern is very easy to understand, with lots of photos.

Size: Includes newborn through 12 months. Made with bulky weight yarn, size 13 (9mm) double-pointed needles and larger crochet hook (used for making fringed sections).
