1 How did you first get introduced to your craft?
My mother was a seamstress and my grandmother pieced quilts.
2 What type of patterns do you enjoy designing the most?
All types; redwork, pieced, appliqué, paper-pieced.
3 What are you most known for?
Redwork and appliqué, usually with a Christian theme.
4 How do you jump-start your creativity?
God jump-starts my creativity!
5 What season inspires you the most?
Spring and winter.
6 On average, how many new patterns do you design each year?
It varies between 2 and six.
7 Is there another craft you'd like to try your hand at?
I crochet but haven't finished pattern instructions yet. I'd like to do that and I'd like to write a book.
8 What is your favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon?
Resting and enjoying family and our dogs.
9 What three items do you always have in your craft bag?
Scissors, needle and neutral-colored thread.
