Halloween Finger Puppets
Technique - Sewing
These adorable felt finger puppets can be filled with miniature candy bars and given as Halloween treats, or used to delight your little one! They're stitched entirely by hand, using a whip stitch around the edges of the felt, a stem stitch for the mouths, a straight stitch for the cat face and scars on Frankenstein and his bride, and a blanket stitch for the skull teeth (diagrams are included for the embroidery stitches). Instructions are included to make a vampire, Frankenstein, bride of Frankenstein, skull, candy corn, mummy, pumpkin, bat, ghost and black cat. The puppets are made from scraps of felt, buttons and ribbons. Felt circles or pompoms can be used in place of buttons for eyes.
