Technique - Sewing
These felt kitty softies are fun and simple to make! They are stitched entirely by hand, using a whip stitch around the felt edges, and a straight stitch for the muzzle and paw lines. The kitty body, head, ears, arms, legs are all together in 1 pattern shape -- they are not attached separately. Kitties are made from scraps of wool felt (acrylic felt can be used but wool/wool blend felt will be more durable). Enlarge or reduce patterns to make the kitties different sizes. Safety eyes are used for sample kitties -- other options for the eyes are to make them using embroidery, paint or felt.
