1 How did you first get introduced to your craft?
I was a teenager and just picked up a crochet hook and yarn one day and started playing around with it. I ended up making an entire scarf out of nothing but slip stitches. After that I found a book at the library and taught myself to crochet.
2 What type of patterns do you enjoy designing the most?
I mostly enjoy designing clothing. Mostly I prefer doing more intricate and unique designs but sometimes I like doing quick and simple items.
3 What are you most known for?
I am not sure; I think I am most known for my children's clothing.
4 How do you jump-start your creativity?
Most of the time it's a necessity for myself or my daughter, other times it's something that has inspired me either online or while walking around.
5 What season inspires you the most?
Since we get mostly warm weather, it would be spring and summer that inspires me the most.
6 On average, how many new patterns do you design each year?
I don't even know. I do more designing than what I actually turn into a pattern. I guess I design about 5-6 items per year or more that will be turned into a pattern.
7 Is there another craft you'd like to try your hand at?
I am currently learning how to tatt and loving it.
8 What is your favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon?
Sitting on the sofa with my family around me watching TV and crocheting.
9 What three items do you always have in your craft bag?
Yarn, several hooks and scissors.
