1 How did you first get introduced to your craft?
My sister first taught me when I was about 10, but I never did much with it then. I retaught myself in 2005 and haven't stopped.
2 What type of patterns do you enjoy designing the most?
I love designing silly items that will make people smile. I really love hats--fun, goofy hats.
3 What are you most known for?
Making hats for Halos of Hope.
4 How do you jump-start your creativity?
I'm always thinking of new designs, and I often bounce ideas off my family.
5 What season inspires you the most?
The Halloween season. I love dress-up, cooler weather and candy corn.
6 On average, how many new patterns do you design each year?
7 Is there another craft you'd like to try your hand at?
I adore handmade quilts. I have a couple made by family that are just amazing.
8 What is your favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon?
If not too hot, a hike in the woods with my husband and boys.
9 What three items do you always have in your craft bag?
Scraps of paper with design ideas on them, scissors and a couple WIPs.
