1 How did you first get introduced to your craft?

I started crocheting more than 5 years ago when a woman at work taught me during our lunch hours.

2 What type of patterns do you enjoy designing the most?

I like designing simple patterns with something special about them to make them interesting, like a unique finishing technique or assembly design. I love designing home decor pieces and accessories for girls.

3 How do you jump-start your creativity?

I get inspired by films and fashion magazines. I like to pay attention to what women are wearing and what the new trends are. I see something on TV and think, "I bet I could crochet that!"

4 What season inspires you the most?

Summer

5 On average, how many new patterns do you design each year?

Right now I average about 4 designs a year but I hope to do more.

6 Is there another craft you'd like to try your hand at?

I also knit and cross stitch.

7 What is your favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon?

I like to catch up on my reading, or I binge-watch Netflix while working on my crochet!

8 What three items do you always have in your craft bag?

Scissors, stitch markers and a tape measure.
