1 How did you first get introduced to your craft?

My mom is very talented and was always teaching us different crafts. When knitting became too strenuous on my hands, I started to crochet more.

2 What type of patterns do you enjoy designing the most?

I love designing things for kids, especially my youngest son. It makes me smile to see kids wearing my designs.

3 What are you most known for?

Bright colors!

4 How do you jump-start your creativity?

I am constantly soaking in things around me and have pencil and paper with me at all times. I love to sketch.

5 What season inspires you the most?

Halloween is my family's favorite time of the year. I love the colors and crispness in the air.

7 Is there another craft you'd like to try your hand at?

I would love to try a rag loom.

8 What is your favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon?

Watching football with my husband and crocheting.

9 What three items do you always have in your craft bag?

A sketchpad, school box with hooks/supplies, and a skein of yarn.
