1 How did you first get introduced to your craft?
My grandmother taught me to knit when I was 12. and then later in life a friend showed me a couple of basic crochet stitches; I basically taught myself the rest.
2 What type of patterns do you enjoy designing the most?
I like designing fun hats, animal hats that look realistic and newborn photo props.
3 What are you most known for?
Speaking Russian
4 How do you jump-start your creativity?
I haven't really had to yet, but I think I would search the Internet for ideas, watch documentaries about animals with my son, get inspired by nature, etc...
5 What season inspires you the most?
I love summer but I guess fall inspires me the most because of the beautiful colors.
6 On average, how many new patterns do you design each year?
It is my first year designing, and I think I designed at least 50 or more.
7 Is there another craft you'd like to try your hand at?
Kanzashi ornaments/flowers, macrame, and quilting if I ever find time.
8 What is your favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon?
A walk in the park with my family, a cup of tea with a friend or watching a favorite show while doing a crochet project.
9 What three items do you always have in your craft bag?
Way more than three, but if I have to limit it would be: a skein of yarn, a hook and scissors
