I started knitting in 2006. My husband and I were living away from home on a job site, and his boss’s wife taught me how to knit. My first project was a felted purse!
2 What type of patterns do you enjoy designing the most?
I love to make felted projects. It is fun to see what they turn into after felting, which is very forgiving!

Felted purses and hats! I love felting hats and am always asked by others where they can get my designs.

I only design a pattern if I am hit by something I would like to make. So I don’t create a lot of patterns, but I like to do it!

Sundays after services I generally hit the sofa and knit while watching my favorite TV “preachers.”

My craft bag always has a laser light to knit in the dark, stitch markers and scissors.
