1 How did you first get introduced to your craft?

I was given a plastic canvas pattern book as a Christmas present and was hooked!

2 What type of patterns do you enjoy designing the most?

Quick-to-stitch, pretty patterns with embellishments, whimsical, inspirational and anything different (i.e. fabric stamping details on parts of stitching).

3 What are you most known for?

I have been told my designs are very neatly stitched, and once had a small design photographed on the wrong side in a magazine.

4 How do you jump-start your creativity?

I like a quiet spot so the only thing to focus on is my imagination -- and getting a haircut always gives me a surge in creativity!

5 What season inspires you the most?

I love the holidays, especially Christmas! There are so many possibilities -- religious, ornaments, gifts, fun characters and on and on.

6 On average, how many new patterns do you design each year?

About 50.

7 Is there another craft you'd like to try your hand at?

Knitting and crochet, but I would want to jump right into complex patterns.

8 What is your favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon?

I love good food, am a sports fan and enjoy a good romance novel.

9 What three items do you always have in your craft bag?

Paper to sketch on, colored pencils and graph paper.
