1 How did you first get introduced to your craft?

Wow, that was many years ago, but I think it was my friend Carla who got me interested in cross stitch, which led me to plastic canvas; I've never looked back!

2 What type of patterns do you enjoy designing the most?

I enjoy designing Christmas villages and useful things my daughter, who is a teacher, can use in her classroom.

3 What are you most known for?

Beading and embellishments.

4 How do you jump-start your creativity?

With a trip to my local craft stores to look at all the colors of the floss, yarn, beads, buttons, jewels, ribbons, stickers, etc...

5 What season inspires you the most?

The Christmas season!

6 On average, how many new patterns do you design each year?

I'd say approximately 30.

7 Is there another craft you'd like to try your hand at?

While plastic canvas will always be my favorite, I wish I knew how to knit and quilt. Scrapbooking looks like fun, too, with all the decorations.

8 What is your favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon?

Stitching and beading my latest design while watching black and white 1940s movies.

9 What three items do you always have in your craft bag?

Craft bag? I have too many craft items for just a bag! But if I have to pick just 3, I'd say plastic canvas, floss and a sharp needle. (Can I add chocolate to that list?)
