1 How did you first get introduced to your craft?
I was sick in bed and my sister just learned to crochet in home economics class in high school. She came home and taught me. I fell in love with it the second I made my first stitch.
2 What type of patterns do you enjoy designing the most?
I love designing for babies, especially baby girls.
3 What are you most known for?
Probably most known for my photo prop baby cocoons.
4 How do you jump-start your creativity?
I go to the yarn store and look at all the different yarns and colors and then ideas just start coming to me.
5 What season inspires you the most?
Fall -- when people are starting to need hats and gloves and sweaters.
6 On average, how many new patterns do you design each year?
I just started designing last year and I have over a hundred patterns, so about two a week.
7 Is there another craft you'd like to try your hand at?
Yes -- pottery, knitting, painting and sewing.
8 What is your favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon?
On the couch designing a new pattern and watching the Boston Red Sox or the Patriots.
9 What three items do you always have in your craft bag?
Crochet hooks, scissors, and of course yarn.
