1 How did you first get introduced to your craft?
I started crafting when I was in the 3rd grade. That's when I made my first handmade bag.
2 What type of patterns do you enjoy designing the most?
I love designing baby items and bags the most. I'm especially addicted to designing baby shoes.
3 What are you most known for?
guess I'm most known for the baby shoes and items, particularly the boots design.
4 How do you jump-start your creativity?
I am inspired by everything! I find inspiration when I'm playing with my kids, when I read a book, and a countless number of other things.
5 What season inspires you the most?
To be honest, I'm not inspired by any one season more than another. I create designs to fill the needs of all four seasons. For example, I design boots during the winter and bags during the summer.
6 On average, how many new patterns do you design each year?
I usually design 40-50 new patterns each year.
7 Is there another craft you'd like to try your hand at?
Of course! I have a lot of interest in reproducing old furniture.
8 What is your favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon?
It’s usually a toss-up between designing a new pattern and taking a nap. During the weekdays I have other things that need to be done, but on the weekends I create many new patterns.
9 What three items do you always have in your craft bag?
I always carry a sketchbook, a pen and a ruler.
