Woodland Animal Softies

Technique - Sewing

These animal softies are fun and simple to make! They're stitched entirely by hand, using a whip stitch around the felt edges, a running stitch across the arms and legs, and a straight stitch for the muzzle line on the fox, deer and raccoon. The body, head, ears, arms and legs are all together in 1 pattern shape for each softie and are made from scraps of felt. Enlarge or reduce patterns to make the animals different sizes. Safety eyes are used for samples -- other options for the eyes, are to make them using embroidery, paint or felt.
